Golf

There are many golf clubs and courses in and around Berlin which will make hearts tee for joy.

A good address for occasional golfers is the public Golf-Zentrum in Berlin-Mitte.

 

Climbing

It is hard to imagine that in a city like Berlin you can go rock climbing. However at the newest and biggest climbing centre in Europe Magic Mountain you can. It is located in the borough of Wedding. It is 30 minutes away from the hotel and reachable by taxi, bus or subway.

 

o2 World: Ice hockey & Basketball

o2 World 

The o2 World is the newest and most modern event location in Berlin. Huge sport and music events take place here. This arena, which is close to the Ostbahnhof, is the home ground of the Eisbären and ALBA Berlin – the top teams of the capital.

 

Ice hockey

The o2 World has been the new home ground for the EHC Eisbären Berlin since 2008 – our triple German ice hockey champions. Atmosphere and vibe during the games are one-of-a-kind – tension guaranteed.

 

Basketball

ALBA BERLIN is the most successful German basketball club of the past ten years. The club won the German championship in June 2008 for the eighth time. The „Albatrosse” are the only German club participating in the Euroleague in the 2008/2009 season.

 

Handball

FÜCHSE BERLIN:  Is the team handball club from Berlin, Germany. Currently, they compete in the German First League of Handball at Max-Schmeling-Halle.

 

Soccer

Soccer in Berlin is as popular as everywhereelse in Germany. Our team in the German Soccer League is Hertha BSC. The home ground is the Olympiastadion, about 30 to 40 minutes by taxi or public transport.

 

Tennis, badminton, squash and much more

There are state-of-the-art sports fields, clubs and centres in all areas of Berlin for most indoor and outdoor sports. Friends of tennis, badminton and squash will be able to enjoy their time in the TC City Sports in the Brandenburgischen Straße which has the closest proximity to our hotel. The young sports fans will love the „Kid's SportsWorld“.

 

Swimming

Swimming is a popular sport in every season. The Berliner Bäderbetriebe offer 37 indoor as well as outdoor and summer pools. One of the oldest and most beautiful indoor pool is the Stadtbad Charlottenburg in the Krumme Straße.
