The Kulturforum. You can reach the most significant cultural centre in town after three minutes by taxi or a 15 minute walk along the riverside. Visit the galleries and museums, exhibitions, events and the venue of the Berlin Philharmonic.
Neues Museum. Berlin’s Neues Museum, located on the famous Museum Island Berlin, reopened once again its door to the public after 70 years on October 17th, 2009. The Neues Museum, designed by Friedrich August Stueler, is hosting Berlin’s Egyptian collection with its artifacta from the prehistoric and later eras, along with some of the city’s classical antiquities. A very special highlight is an ancient treasure of the famous 3,300-year-old bust of the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. The museum can be reached within 16 minutes by public transport.
The Jewish Museum Berlin. In a house from the 18th century and in the new building designed by the famous architect Daniel Libeskind you will find German-Jewish history from over 2000 years. It only takes you about 10 minutes by taxi to reach the museum.
The Bauhaus Archive. The Bauhaus was the twentieth century's most important school of design, architecture and art. Its programme and products have maintained their influence on design up to the present day. The Bauhaus Archive presents parts of its collection in a permanent exhibition The Bauhaus Collection – Classic Modern Originals. Temporary special exhibitions are dedicated to individual artists, or to current themes in the fields of art, architecture, and modern design. You can reach the Bauhaus Archive after a five minute walk.
The Museum of Decorative Arts. The Museum of Decorative Arts is one of the oldest of its kind in Germany. It possesses one of the most important collections of skilled craftsmanship. The Museum can be reached within a four minute taxi ride.
The Museum of Prints and Drawings. The Museum of Prints and Drawings is the largest collection of graphic art in Germany. This universe of "art on paper" includes works by major artists ranging from Sandro Botticelli and Albrecht Dürer to Rembrandt and Adolph von Menzel, from Pablo Picasso to Andy Warhol. It only takes you a four minute taxi ride to get there.
The New National Gallery. The New National Gallery was opened in 1968 as the counterpart to the National Gallery located on the Museumsinsel Berlin (Museums Island Berlin) in the eastern part of the city. As part of the reunification, a collection of the 20th century art is now located in the spectacular building by Mies van der Rohe. Within three minutes the taxi will take you to the Gallery.
Berlin Philharmonic. The Berlin Philharmonic influenced and still influences the world of classical music. However their home, the Berliner Philharmonie, is an appealing sight, too. There are daily world-class concerts, masterly toned from local and international top class orchestras. The Kulturforum can be reached within a three minute taxi ride.
Gasometer Berlin Schoeneberg. Climb 456 stairs in a small guided group and amaze yourself with a spectacular view from the top of the Gasometer. Blue Man Group – the sensational coloured show of the blue man has been in Berlin since 2004 and is a popular crowd puller. The unique mix of comedy, music and multi media is a typical Berlin experience which you should not miss out on. Within four minutes the taxi will take you to the Bluemax-Theatre on Potsdamer Platz.

The nearest cinemas are located on Potsdamer Platz. There is a Cinemaxx cinema, an IMAX 3D cinema and a Cinestar Original, where the movies are shown in their original version.
